Il Programma Mattone Internazionale Salute – ProMIS organizza il 18 e 19 giugno 2018 un workshop a Trento dal titolo “Artificial Intelligence and Chronic disease management”. L’evento sarà un momento di confronto sul tema che tratta l’uso dell’Intelligenza Artificiale nell’ambito della gestione delle malattie croniche attraverso la presentazione di strategie e politiche sia a livello europeo che nazionale.
L’evento è nato a seguito di un lavoro effettuato dal sottogruppo del ProMIS che si occupa di “incoraggiare l’autonomia nella cura da parte dei pazienti e puntare ad un’assistenza il più vicino possibile al domicilio del paziente salvaguardando la sicurezza e il rapporto costo-efficacia” ed è composto da 5 Regioni/PA quali Piemonte, Umbria, Basilicata, Puglia e la Provincia Autonoma di Trento, in qualità di capofila dell’iniziativa.
Parteciperanno alla giornata Rappresentanti delle Istituzioni Europee, del Ministero della salute, di Agenzie nazionali ed internazionali.
Il primo giorno, con inizio pomeridiano, sarà dedicato alla presentazione delle politiche e delle strategie in ambito europeo/nazionale ed alla presentazione di buone pratiche ed esperienze a livello europeo.
Il secondo giorno sarà dedicato ad interventi specifici che cercheranno di far comprendere e focalizzare quali siano le principali dimensioni (economica, di sicurezza, di privacy ecc.) da affrontare strettamente legate all’adozione dell’Intelligenza Artificiale in sanità.

Mattone Internazionale Salute Programe– ProMIS organises on June 18th and 19th 2018 a workshop in Trento entitled “Artificial Intelligence and Chronic disease management”. The event will be a moment of comparison about the issue of the use of artificial intelligence in the context of the management of chronic diseases through the presentation of strategies and policies both at European and national level.
The event was conceived as a result of a work carried out by the ProMIS sub-group that deals with “encouraging autonomy in patient care and aiming for assistance as close as possible to the patient’s domicile by safeguarding the safety and relationship Cost-effectiveness”, and it is composed by 5 Regions as Piedmont, Umbria, Basilicata and Puglia and the Autonomous Province of Trento as promoter of the initiative.
Representatives of the European institutions, the Ministry of Health, national and international agencies will attend the event.
The afternoon session of the first day will be addressed to the presentation of European/national policies and strategies and to the presentation of good practices and experiences at European level.
The second day will be dedicated to specific interventions that will try to clarify and identify which are the main issues (economic, security, empowerment of patients, privacy etc.) to discuss in relation to the adoption of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare.
